Hello, and welcome.

I’m Meredith and here are some things I believe to be true about home and design:

I founded This Is Home Interior Design with the belief that a well-designed home supports the unique rhythms of daily life while also inspiring those who live within it. My specialty is creating refined, storied interiors, grounded in beauty and quality, with an aesthetic that is classic and timeless in nature. Hurry is avoided in the design process and replaced with energizing collaboration. Helping my clients uncover hidden beauty and improve functionality is the driving force behind what I do.

My design journey began in childhood with a mother who knew how to make spaces feel warm and cozy. From there, I attended Texas Tech University where I studied design and graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design and a Minor in Architecture. During my time in college, I was able to study the Italian Renaissance in Florence, Italy. This combined two of my great loves: design and exploring new places. And what a mark that season of life left on me. As a designer, I have lived and worked in Florida, the Washington, D.C. area, and now Texas. I hold an NCIDQ certification.

I have a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms-whether found in places, gardens, food, or people.
